  • Welcome to Kalyn Mann Photography!

    Hi, I'm Kalyn :)

Welcome to my world of vivid color, black & white, and everything in between! My love and passion for photography stems back to when I was a little girl; snapping pictures of the family dog on my vintage polaroid camera. For me, there was always something very beautiful and priceless about capturing a specific moment in time. And that brings me to where I am today - helping to capture moments in time for all of my clients. My photography style can be described as unique, warm, full of expression and even a little quirky!

    Here are a few interesting facts about the girl behind the camera;

    - I am married to the love of my life, Adam. We were married in 2009 in a tropical Key West destination wedding, where the only parts I had an interest in were the photography, the food, and spending time with the amazing people who attended!

    - We have 2 fur babies; Sasha, the Weimaraner and Bella, the Chihuahua. They make occasional guest appearances on this site.

    - I have a passion for fashion and love finding hidden "gems" at the local consignment stores, thrift stores, or any garage/tag sale! I've had a long-standing dream of opening my own consignment store...maybe one day once this whole photography-thing gets boring :)

    - I love food, cooking and I very much encourage drinking vino with EVERY meal.

Thanks for stopping by - I can't wait to hear from you!

Liliana – Chagrin Falls Children’s Photographer, Cleveland Children’s Photographer, Akron Children’s Photographer, Northeast Ohio Children’s Photographer

Another session in Chagrin Falls that included a ginormous ice-cream cone! This is Liliana – isn’t she beautiful? I love getting to see little kid’s personalities when photographing them – and Liliana’s is one of the best. She has the best facial expressions when telling stories! And to be honest, I think I got the best smiles out of her when we talked about bird poop. No joke. Anyways, my camera loved her smiles, so enjoy:)

Ian – Chagrin Falls Children’s Photographer, Cleveland Children’s Photographer, Akron Children’s Photographer

This little cutie is Ian! He just turned one and is such a mover and groover. He barely stopped long enough for me to snap some photos of him! I met this family down in Chagrin Falls – my favorite place on earth and we stopped at a few different locations; the playground, the park, until finally it dawned on us to go get Ian an ice cream cone; taaaaa-daaaa, this kid’s mood went from 0-50 in no time flat, he was so happy and such a good boy! Enjoy Ian’s sneak peek:)

Carrie + Ben – Cleveland Engagement Photography

They met and fell in love in Biology class…such a cute way to meet the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with:)

Carrie and Ben are getting hitched this August, and we thought the Polo Fields were the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. Especially because it enabled them to bring along their woofies – Liv and Larry! Liv even got to take a little bath in the river:)

Thanks so much you two; very excited for your wedding this summer!

Aubrey – Northeast Ohio Baby Photographer

This is baby Aubrey. She is one, tough little cookie, as it took just about everything to get a smile out of her! But like I told her mom, I kind of like her non-smiling face, she looks a little pouty and pensive, no?! Future model on our hands? Just maybe:)

We headed up to Penitentiary Glen for these photos – the weather was great and we had lots of green grass and blue sky as our backdrop. Aubrey’s mom brought along some great props – the aqua pail, is from Target and the headbands were made by a friend. I think I need one of those pails in every single color available!

Thanks so much Sierra!

Mason & Ella – Northeast Ohio Baby Photographer

Meet Mr. Mason and Ms. Ella! These twins were welcomed into the world just about 6 months ago and couldn’t be any sweeter:)

The weather was not cooperating on this particular day so we got most of our shots done inside before heading to the backyard for a couple family shots. Mom (Miranda) had some of the cutest outfits picked out; she even hand-made the yellow tutu on Ella and the tie that’s on Mason was her Grandpa’s. Totally adorable. This family puts a big smile on my face, I loooooooooved every second of capturing them!
